PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of an optical recording device for performing recording to a guide layer separation type disk, and to improve its data transfer speed.SOLUTION: The optical recording device includes: a disk drive 31A for guide for driving a guide disk on which a guide track is disposed; and a plurality of disk drives 31B, 31C, 31D and 31E for recording/reproduction for performing recording to a recording disk. The disk drive for guide includes a tracking servo signal transmission part 161A for simultaneously transferring a tracking servo signal generated by using the guide track to the plurality of disk drives for recording/reproduction. The plurality of disk drives for recording/reproduction receive the transferred tracking servo signal, and supply it to tracking actuators 42B, 42C, 42D and 42E in their own drives for performing tracking control. |
