PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for a fuel cell, an electrode for the fuel cell using the same, a membrane-electrode assembly for the fuel cell, and a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A catalyst for a fuel cell contains an active metal catalyst and a composite carrier which carries the active metal catalyst and contains a spherical carrier and a fibrous carrier. The fibrous carrier is contained in 5 to 40 wt.% based on the total weight of the composite carrier. An electrode for the fuel cell using the catalyst, a membrane-electrode assembly for the fuel cell and a fuel cell system are provided.
