PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel system for supplying fuel to a jet engine, in which a pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel pump is raised without directly taking power from the jet engine and without increasing the number of electric motors.SOLUTION: A fuel system includes: a fuel pump 3 constituted of a fixed displacement pump in which a discharge flow rate is changed linked with the number of revolutions of a driving shaft; a boost pump 4 disposed at an upstream side of the fuel pump 3 and constituted of a fixed displacement pump of which the discharge flow rate per unit rotation of a driving shaft is more than that of the fuel pump 3; a single electric motor 5 rotated and driven in a state that rotational frequencies of the driving shaft of the fuel pump 3 and the driving shaft of the boost pump 4 are made coincident with each other; a return flow channel 7 connecting an upstream side and a downstream side of the boost pump 4 to each other; and a relief valve 8 disposed in the return flow channel 7 and opened when an internal pressure of the return flow channel 7 exceeds a reference pressure. |
