PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line guide that is hardly deformed relative to a force working near the lower end of a guide ring from a fishing line, and also to provide a fishing rod equipped with such fishing line guide.SOLUTION: A fishing line guide of one embodiment of the present invention includes: a tabular holding part that has a nearly circular through hole in which an annular guide ring insertable with a fishing line is fitted and that is tilted from the rear to the front of a rod body; a front side foot part that is mounted on the rod body; a rear side foot part that is mounted rearward from the front side foot part of the rod body; a tabular front side sub leg part that is installed between the lower end of the holding part and the front side foot part; and a tabular rear side sub leg part that is installed between the lower end of the holding part and the front side foot part. In one embodiment of this invention, the lower end of the guide ring is roughly in the center between the front side foot part and the rear side foot part in a side view. Also, in one embodiment of this invention, the upper end of the guide ring is in the rearward of the rod body from the front side foot part in a side view. |
