PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving device capable of estimating a transmission path with high accuracy, and a method therefor.SOLUTION: A subcarrier component is outputted by FFT'ing an OFDM received signal, an SP signal is extracted, and a known SP signal is generated. The extracted SP signal is divided by the known SP signal to calculate a transmission path characteristic signal corresponding to the SP signal, and an interpolation in a symbol direction is performed on the calculated transmission path characteristic signal corresponding to the SP signal. A delay profile is outputted by IFFT'ing, in a carrier direction, the transmission path characteristic signal which was interpolated in the symbol direction, and this delay profile is filtered, and the filtered delay profile is FFT'ed, whereby a transmission path characteristic signal corresponding to all subcarrier components is outputted. The subcarrier component obtained by FFT'ing the OFDM received signal is divided by a transmission path characteristic corresponding to the subcarrier component obtained by FFT'ing the filtered delay profile, whereby a demodulated signal is outputted. |
