PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which attaches a belt shaped member cut at a designed length on a rotating body such that the amount of joint becomes nearly constant in a width direction; and a device of the same.SOLUTION: An attaching device of belt shaped members comprises: a step of measuring the positions of the apical portion and the rear end portion of a belt shaped member which is cut at a designed length and is conveyed at a plurality of places in a width direction of the belt shaped member concerned; a step of computing the member length of the belt shaped member for each place in the width direction from the places of the apical position and the rear end portion; a step of stretching for each place in the width direction of the belt shaped member by holding each place in the width direction of the rear end portion of the belt shaped member; and a step of attaching the stretched belt shaped member to the outer periphery of a rotating body. In the step of stretching the belt shaped member, the belt shaped member is made to stretch such that the member length of each place in the width direction of the belt shaped member becomes a pre-determined reference value. |
