PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a room-stay indicative lock, with which it is easily noticed at the indoor side whether the lock is on or off even when the lock has a play-rotation gap.SOLUTION: A structure of a room-stay indicative lock comprises: a lock device which is locked or unlocked by the rotary operation of one operation member (a spare key) and the other operation member (a thumb-turn cover 43) which are provided at the front and back of an open-and-shut object; a case 41 which is fitted to the lock device, covers a part of the other operation member, and has a display window section 45; a play-rotation gap 51 which is provided at the other operation member, and allows a rotary operation range to be greater than that of the one operation member; and an unlock-indication colored section 71 having such a peripheral length that, with the unlock-indication colored section being fitted to the other operation member and displayed through the display window section 45, when the other operation member with one rotational end of the play-rotation gap 51 in contact with one operation member linkage part rotates, one circumferential-direction end 75 falls in the position of the display window 45, while, when the other operation member with the other rotational end of the play-rotation gap 51 in contact with the one operation member linkage part rotates, the other circumferential-direction end 77 falls in the position of the display window 45. |
