PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decontaminating decontamination objects bonded with radioactive materials that can obtain sufficient crushing force against the decontamination objects and can obtain sufficient decontamination effect, in the case of decontamination of soft decontamination objects having soft surface materials.SOLUTION: The method for decontaminating soft decontamination objects bonded with radioactive materials that uses a decontamination machine 10 for performing decontamination by friction between materials comprises the steps of: feeding, into decontamination machine 10, the soft decontamination objects 38 bonded with radioactive materials, water for decontamination, and polygonal aggregate 40 having sharp angle parts; and driving the decontamination machine 10 to perform friction between the soft decontamination objects 38 and the aggregate 40 and performing decontamination with the water for decontamination while peeling the radioactive materials adhering to the soft decontamination objects 38 by the use of the aggregate 40. |
