摘要 Disclosed is an investigation apparatus for a facility which investigates a manhole using a facility server and a mobile terminal which communicates with the facility server and provides information on the manhole. A facility location verifying part verifies the location of the manhole using a global positioning system (GPS) embedded in the mobile terminal and transmits the location information of the manhole to the facility server. A facility information collecting part collects information on the manhole by performing a geographic information system (GIS) mapping process using the location information verified by the facility location verifying part based on an image obtained by photographing a manhole lid using the mobile terminal, and transmits the information to the facility server. A facility depth measuring part opens the manhole lid, drops a buoy in connection with a rope to the bottom direction of the manhole, photographs an image via the buoy using the mobile terminal, compares the size of the manhole and the size of the buoy, measures the height of a pipe, which is the depth of the manhole, and transmits the height of the pipe to the facility server. According to the present invention, provided are investigation apparatus and method for a sewer facility, which make scientific and systematic inputting/correcting/updating processes of information possible using the mobile terminal and can build a database based on the information when investigation is performed for asset management on various kinds of sewer facilities (for example, server facilities, manholes, and the like).
