SMART HOME SYSTEM WITH PORTABLE GATEWAY

The present invention relates to a smart home system using a mobile device, more specifically, to a smart home system using a mobile device for providing a smart home service using a multiplexing gateway by mounting a gateway function in the mobile device. The smart home system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises at least one first mobile device or home appliance located inside the house and including the gateway; a home network for connecting the first mobile devices or the home appliances from each other; and a master device which is selected among the first mobile devices or the home appliances and for connecting the home network to an external communication network by activating the gateway. The master device transmits a control command of the home appliances from a user to the home appliances. According to the present invention, A special gateway is unnecessary to be purchased by installing the gateway in the mobile devices which are frequently used by the user. In addition, the user remotely control the home appliances existed inside the house using the mobile device and remotely searches the condition of the home appliances.
