The present invention relates to a combined fixed and rotating caster for a cart, which is arranged at each edge of a lower surface of the unmanned or manned cart to transport articles by a rolling motion and, more specifically, to a combined fixed and rotating caster for a cart, which is automatically converted into a fixed or rotating caster along a forward/backward direction of the cart to secure safe driving, thereby facilitating transport of articles and improving work conditions. According to the present invention, the combined fixed and rotating caster for a cart can be automatically converted into a fixed or rotating caster by the operation of a combined fixed and rotating means which includes a secondary wheel, which comes into close contact with a wheel along a forward/backward direction of the cart to be rotated in only one direction, and a fixing pin inserted into a fastening hole of a fixing plate to secure safe driving, thereby facilitating transport of articles and improving work conditions. |
