<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique efficiently collecting meter reading data using a meter reading data collection device, from a meter reading device from which meter reading data is not collected yet, among meter reading devices subordinate to a radio meter reading system.SOLUTION: A handy device 1 acquires information related to a plurality of meter reading devices 2 from which meter reading data is not collected yet, among a plurality of meter reading devices 2 that are multistage connected by multi-hop communication to constitute a wireless LAN 6 of a tree structure. The handy device 1 displays topology by identifying the topology in the wireless LAN 6 of the meter reading devices 2. On receiving from an operator the selection of an access target device among the plurality of meter reading devices 2 from which meter reading data is not collected yet, the handy device 1 wirelessly connects to the access target device to collect the meter reading data of the access target device and each meter reading device 2 located downstream of the access target device in the radio network tree structure.</p> |
