<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of ensuring a desired data transfer rate using a second storage device such as an SSD in combination while effectively utilizing a storage area of an HDD.SOLUTION: In writing image data in an HDD, the image data is preferentially written in a track on an outer peripheral side of a predetermined boundary track among a plurality of tracks in the HDD, and when the track on the outer peripheral side of the predetermined boundary track has no free area, the image data is stored in a second storage device having a data transfer rate higher than when the boundary track of the HDD is used.</p> |
