PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method by which a high capacitance electrode material for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor can be easily obtained, and a high capacitance electrode material for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor can be easily produced, in particular, irrespective of an average particle size (D) of used aluminum powder.SOLUTION: A method for producing an electrode material for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor includes: (1) a first step of forming a film on at least one surface of a base material, the film comprising a paste composition containing at least one kind of powder of aluminum and an aluminum alloy, a binder resin and a solvent; (2) a second step of sintering the film; and (3) a third step of subjecting the sintered film to etching treatment. |
