<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device that enables reduction in clogging of a developer in a brush layer of a brush roller.SOLUTION: The development device comprises: a housing 110 that is configured so as to store toner T (developer); a roller body 121; a brush roller 120 that has a brush layer 122 formed by having fiber embedded on an outer peripheral surface of the roller body 121; a plurality of conveyance members 141 that is configured to be rotated to thereby feed the toner T to the brush roller 120, is arrayed away from each other on a circumferential surface centering around a rotation shaft line, is arranged at an interval spaced from the rotation shaft line, and is configured to circle around the rotation shaft line; and a feed member 140 that is configured so that, after the conveyance member 141 in circulation passes through the toner T stored in the housing 110 at a part lower than the brush roller 120, the conveyance member 141 comes into contact with the brush layer 122 at a part higher than a water level of the toner T to be stored in the housing 110.</p> |
