PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board-to-board connector in which low profile and narrow pitch can be achieved easily.SOLUTION: A board-to-board connector 1 includes a header 3 having a plurality of header contacts 6a and 6b, and a socket 5 having a plurality of socket contacts 19a and 19b. The socket contact 19a, 19b includes a planar socket side connection 28 extending in the length direction. The socket side connection 28 is provided with an insertion fixing hole 31 extending in the length direction. The insertion fixing hole 31 is constituted of an insertion part 31a, and a press-fit part 31b being press-fitted when the protrusions 17 of the corresponding header contacts 6a and 6b inserted therein are moved in the length direction of the insertion fixing hole 31.
