PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional commutator motor in which an armature winding in slots is generally fixed with varnish to increase the reliability; however the osmosis of the varnish into an undercut part of a commutator causing a failure; or to reduce such failure, the varnish is applied insufficiently to crossover portion causing a break of the wire by a centrifugal force during spinning.SOLUTION: By applying a coating material having a viscosity higher than that of coil fixing varnish to at least a crossover portion at the bottom of the commutator, the osmosis of the varnish into the commutator undercut part can be prevented. Thus, a commutator motor with increased reliability can be achieved.
|
