PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact and low price wavelength multiplex transmission device in which compaction and low price of a device power supply are achieved by reducing the current during start-up of a wavelength multiplex transmission device using a dummy light source.SOLUTION: A wavelength multiplex transmission device having a plurality of dummy power supplies, each including a light source having a cooler operating with a current supplied from a power supply, is further provided with current supply control means for changing the supply start time of a current being supplied to the cooler by the position information of the dummy power supply in the wavelength multiplex transmission device. |
