PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush holder device which reduces the assembly work hours.SOLUTION: A brush holder device 20 includes a housing 30 formed into an annular shape. A recessed part 46 extending in a radial direction of the housing 30 is formed at the housing 30. A brush 32 and a spring 36 are stored in the recessed part 46. A brush holder 38 is assembled to the housing 30. The brush holder 38 includes: a lid part 50 which closes an open port 46A of the recessed part 46; and a rear wall part 52 which is folded to be formed at an end part of the lid part 50 located at the radial outer side of the housing 30 and supports the spring 36 from the radial outer side of the housing 30. In the lid part 50, a slit 54, into which a pig tail 34 led out from an upper surface 32A of the brush 32 is inserted, is formed. The slit 54 extends in a manner that its longitudinal direction is set to a radial direction of the housing 30 and is open in the radial inner side of the housing 30. |
