摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus of a magnet body for field poles, suitable for reducing a cycle time of groove processing even when a field pole is constituted of magnet bodies having different thicknesses.SOLUTION: A groove processing device for forming a notch groove 33 in a width direction to a magnet body 30 includes: a positioning jig 16 for positioning parts to be divided on the same line and arranging a plurality of magnet bodies 30 having different plate thicknesses each other in parallel. The positioning jig 16 comprises: a jig base 17 including a plurality of pedestals 18 for placing and holding the magnet bodies 30, respectively; a positioning pin 19 as a positioning member for positioning each magnet body 30 from a longitudinal direction; and a width direction positioning pin 20 as a positioning member for positioning each magnet body 30 from a width direction. The plurality of pedestals 18 are formed to vary height positions according to widths of the magnet bodies 30 to be held, respectively and are formed so that a height position of the upper surface of the magnet body 30 to be held is the same in the plurality of magnet bodies 30.
