PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of optimizing communication efficiency, and a control method for the information processing system.SOLUTION: An information processing system is configured as an information processing system in which a plurality of information processing devices are connected. Further, each of the information processing devices comprises: a storage unit that stores data for each information processing device of a transmission destination of the data; and a transmission control unit that collectively transmits data having the same transmission direction and the same number of hops within the data stored in the storage unit.
