PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting unit which obtains a light source achieving good heat radiation performance and excellent luminous efficacy, has a small attachment area, and secures a sufficient insulation distance, and to provide a lighting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting unit includes: an insulation plate 1; a through hole 1-1 provided on the insulation plate 1; a metal plate 7 stored in the through hole 1-1; an insulation plate 2 which is provided on the insulation plate 1 so as to cover the metal plate 7; and a chip on board (COB) which has a light emitting part 3-2 and is provided on the insulation plate 2 so that the light emitting part 3-2 is disposed on the metal plate 7. |
