The present invention relates to a rudder for a ship, installed at a rear part of a propeller for steering a navigation direction of the ship, comprising: a rudder body; a rudder bulb protruding from a front end of the rudder body, wherein the rudder bulb has a front end upwards eccentric from a propeller shaft. The rudder for the ship according to the present invention has the rudder bulb, makes the front end of the rudder bulb upwards eccentric and forms the front end of the rudder bulb with a vertex shape, thereby drastically enhancing self-propulsion performance and steering performance.
