PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that a rotating speed is lowered due to application of a load that a conventional mechanical governor has, by comparatively simple and inexpensive means.SOLUTION: A mechanical governor includes: an actuator 25 connected to a governor arm 23 or a throttle lever 12; a rotation sensor 27 detecting rotation of an engine; and an electronic control device 26 comparing a measured rotational frequency determined on the basis of a detection signal from the rotation sensor 27, with a target rotational frequency predetermined and stored according to a prescribed accelerator opening, and moving at least one of the governor arm 23, the throttle lever 12 and a governor rod 24 in the opening direction against spring force, when a difference exists. |
