The wave-activated system for pumping fluids of vertical displacement is operated by the energy of the waves; however, the operation context is on-shore, the relationship with the channel for generating waves provides structural, modular and theoretic characteristics different from those of the state-of-the-art. The system includes, as a main part, a channel for generating waves with an on-shore operation context, which is operated with a small electric motor for driving a generation ramp that produces a train of waves, this ramp being useful for controlling the period, height and frequency of waves, which activates the pump and is responsible of producing the desired flow and pressure. The waves supply the energy required to generate the desired water flows and pressure, this depends on the design of the pump, since it requires a plunger designed according to the weight, pressures and size of the pump; the capacity of the cylinders (piping) and the capacity of the pressure and storin g tank provide the flows, according to the following parameters: period, height and frequency of the waves. |
