PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle in which improvement of determination accuracy of insulation abnormality of an electrical system and shortening of processing time of the insulation abnormality are both achieved.SOLUTION: A relay SMRB of a SMR 40 is provided between a positive electrode of an electricity storage device B and a positive electrode line PL1. A relay SMRG of the SMR 40 is provided between a negative electrode of the electricity storage device B and a negative electrode line NL. A detector 42 is electrically connected to the negative electrode of the electricity storage device B. A control device 30 receives a voltage value Vk which is a detected result by the detector 42. The control device 30 determines an insulating state of an electrical system based on the detected result by the detector 42 when the relays SMRB, SMRG are set OFF and the detected result by the detector 42 when only the relay SMRB is set ON thereafter.
