<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration of image quality even when the amount of toner attached to sheets changes due to use over time, so as to provide stable image quality.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a process of forming image patterns comprising solid patches and lines into images under conditions in which at least one of image forming conditions is changed: developing potential (charging bias and developing bias), exposure power, and exposure timing, and means for reading the formed images; and selects the optimal image forming conditions with the density of the read solid image, and at least one of line qualities: line width, line width aspect ratio, MTF, pair line resolution, density, and line uniformity.</p> |
