Then, the density sum of pixels at corresponding positions in the image 21a and an image 21b' obtained by inverting the image 21b is calculated, an average value of the density sum between pixel positions and between colors in an area is calculated for every area with a predetermined size, and the calculated average value is converted into a crimping coefficient. Then, when the number of areas whose crimping coefficients are less than a threshold is equal to or more than a predetermined ratio, it is determined that the crimping mail is poorly crimped, areas 23 whose crimping coefficients are less than the threshold are extracted, and the areas 23 are displayed by being overlapped with the original images 21a, 21b. |
