<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unattended bicycle rent system capable of preventing a bicycle from being taken out illegally without installing fixed equipment such as a port or a fence in a bicycle parking lot.SOLUTION: A bicycle lock 5 installed in a bicycle 4 reads a user ID, which is transmitted to a server 2 via a base device 3 in a bicycle parking lot and a communication network 9. The user ID transmitted to the server 2 from the bicycle lock 5 is collated with a user ID stored in the server 2 in advance and when both are matched, the server 2 transmits a lock release permission signal to the bicycle lock 5 via the communication network 9 and the base device 3, so that the bicycle lock 5 which has received the lock release permission signal is released. This system prevents the bicycle 4 from being taken out illegally without installing fixed equipment such as a port or a fence and makes it possible for the bicycle 4 to be rented in an unattended bicycle parking lot 11.</p> |
