<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for high speed excellent image restoration, while achieving compaction of photographic optical system or large aperture, on the premise of image restoration processing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 104 has an image acquisition unit 104b for acquiring an input image generated by image pick-up using a zoom lens 101 capable of zooming, and a processing unit 104b performing image restoration processing using an image restoration filter created based on the information of aberration of a zoom lens for the input image. The processing unit does not perform image restoration processing of the center region of the input image created by image pick-up, when the zoom lens is in a specific zooming state, but performs image restoration processing of a specific region closer to the peripheral side than the center region.</p> |
