The present invention relates to a flat tie and a method for installing a form using the flat tie and a non-metal form frame. The flat tie (20) comprises a long steel band-shaped tie main body (21) which penetrates through pairs of form frames (10) arranged to be spaced apart in the width direction and comprises wedge holes (21a) on both end parts protruding toward the external side of corresponding form frames (10); and a plurality of gap maintaining protrusions (22) which is arranged on one lateral side of the tie main body (21) positioned in a space between the pairs of form frames (10) arranged to be spaced apart, fastened to be fixed on one side of each of the form frames (10) to maintain the set gap of the pairs of form frames (10). Accordingly, the gap maintaining protrusions, which are fastened with one side of a corresponding form frame and maintain the set gap between the pairs of form frames, are arranged on one side of the tie main body of the flat tie, which passes across a space between a pair of tie main bodies arranged to be space apart in order to pour concrete. Therefore, basically, a separate gap maintaining member for maintaining a gap between form frames is not necessary, and thus save costs. Gaps between the edge parts of form frames can be maintained, and thus operational difficulty, caused by the existing gap maintaining with respect to the middle parts of form frames, can be overcome and overall workability such as working efficiency improvement and work time reduction can be improved. |
