PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable optical transmission module capable of performing high speed signal transmission between an imaging element with a high number of pixels and a signal processor and an imaging device.SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 100 comprises: a VCSEL 2 for converting an electric signal into an optical signal; an IC 6 for VCSEL driving for driving the VCSEL 2; an optical fiber 3 for transmitting an optical signal emitted from the VCSEL 2; a guiding/holding member 4 for guiding/holding the optical fiber 3; a cable 5 for supplying a power source to the electronic component; and a first substrate 1 on which the electronic component is mounted. The first substrate 1 includes at least a first surface 1a and a second surface 1b, and the first surface 1a and the second surface 1b are perpendicular to each other, and the optical fiber 3 is connected via the guiding/holding member 4 to the rear face of the first surface 1a on which the VCSEL 2 is mounted such that the optical axis of the optical fiber 3 is perpendicular to the first surface 1a, and the cable 5 is connected to the second surface 1b in parallel with the optical axis of the optical fiber 3. |
