PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the amount of emission of greenhouse effect gas, and raise consciousness of a user to a reduction in the emission amount of the greenhouse effect gas.SOLUTION: A calculating unit calculates the amount of emission of greenhouse effect gas in association with the operation of an image forming apparatus on the basis of a print job (S103). A totaling unit totals the amount of emission of the greenhouse effect gas calculated by the calculating unit, and determines a totalization value obtained by accumulating the emission amount for each print job (S104). A determination unit determines whether or not the totalization value of the amount of emission of the greenhouse effect gas determined by the totaling unit exceeds a predetermined upper limit (S106). A warning unit outputs, when the determination unit determines that the totalization value exceeds the upper limit, warning information indicating the effect (S107). A control unit puts restrictions on use conditions and the like of the image forming apparatus on the basis of the warning information output from the warning unit (S108A). |
