<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and an electronic key device that can generate a different sequence of reading of radio tag at each time when identification numbers of a plurality of radio tags mounted on a vehicle are read using the portable terminal and the sequence of the reading is used for electronic key authentication.SOLUTION: There are provided a portable terminal and an electronic key device such that a plurality of radio tags mounted on a vehicle are touched in arbitrary sequence with the portable terminal having a short-range radio communication function. The sequence in which the identification numbers of the radio tags are acquired is collated with a sequence registered in the electronic key device and when they match each other, the engine of the vehicle is started. Once the authentication is successful, the electronic key device newly generates a next-time touch sequence of the radio tags, and transmits the newly generated touch sequence of the radio tags to the portable terminal.</p> |
