<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a semiconductor laser in a sealed structure and improve heat transfer of a stem thereby to maintain an operation temperature of the semiconductor laser within a rated operation temperature.SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser array 1 comprises: a plurality of semiconductor laser chips 2, 3, 4 which is manufactured by a semiconductor process and emits predetermined laser beams; a plurality of stems 8, 9, 10 which are internal heat sink structures for mounting the plurality of semiconductor laser chips, respectively; a common external heat sink structure (substrate 11) for mounting the plurality of stems; and a common sealed structure 14 which is mounted on the external heat sink structure and surrounds the plurality of stems for mounting the plurality of semiconductor laser chips.</p> |
