A propulsion device for vessel and propulsion device installing method are disclosed. The propulsion device for a vessel of the embodiment of the present invention includes a rear propeller fixed to a rotary shaft; a front propeller which is supported by the rotary shaft on the front side of the rear propeller to be rotated; a reverse rotation device which reverses the rotation of the rotary shaft and transmits the reversed rotation to the front propeller; and a main driving shaft which is connected to a driving source inside a hull and rotated with the rotary shaft. The center of the rotary shaft and the center of the main driving shaft are aligned base on a process of measuring the position on which lights emitted to the main driving shaft from the rear side of the main driving shaft are radiated.
