FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICE exhaust gas system with at least one catcher of solid particles and at least one catalytic neutraliser. Processing of exhaust gas comprises at least the steps that follow. (a) ICE processes are controlled with the help of the system of lambda control over controlled magnitude (5). (b) Necessity in solid particle catcher recovery is defined. (c) Amount of oxygen required for solid particle catcher recover defined.(d) Lambda-adjustment system is used to set the controlled magnitude to value consistent with required amount of oxygen defined at previous step and maintained during the solid particle catcher recovery period.
