FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to automotive industry. Safety airbag module for vehicle restraints system has safety airbag with hole for gas generator, gas generator inserted into the said hole and partially located in the airbag, and gas generator holder on which the gas generator is fixed. The gas generator is located relative to gas generator holder so that when safety airbag is deployed it pulls gas generator to its holder. The holder has hole through which uninflated safety airbag is drawn so that the first section of safety airbag which does not include gas generator is at one side from hole and the second section of safety airbag which includes gas generator is at the other side from hole. The hole is sized so that gas generator cannot be drawn through the mentioned hole. Method for manufacturing safety airbag for vehicle restraints system includes following steps: preparation of safety airbag; gas generator insertion into hole for gas generator; placement of the gas generator relative to gas generator holder so that when safety airbag is deploying it presses gas generator to its holder.EFFECT: simplification of safety airbag module design.14 cl, 6 dwg |
