<p>The present invention can precisely process lenses by simplifying the components of a device and obtaining accurate processing pressure during lens processing. An eyeglass lens processing device comprises: a lens rotation unit for rotating the shaft of a lens chuck for maintaining the eyeglass lenses; a processing tool rotary shaft to which a processing tool is attached; a wheelbase changing unit having a carriage and a motor for maintaining the lens chuck or the processing tool rotary shaft; and a control unit for controlling the lens rotation unit and the wheelbase changing unit based on the shape of the lenses to process the circumferential edge of the lenses with the processing tool. In order to change the wheelbase between the lens chuck and the processing tool rotary shaft, the carriage can move by the operation of a motor in the changed direction. The wheelbase changing unit comprises a moving member which moves by the operation of the motor in the changed direction; a connection member for connecting the moving member and the carriage; and a sensor arranged on the connection member and detecting the deformation the connection member in the changed direction. The control unit controls the operation of the motor based on the detected result of the sensor.</p> |
