The device has a network of wireless sensors and software applications to present information gathered in a park of seats, where each seat is equipped with an embedded module including an accelerometer, a wireless transmitter, a microcontroller, and a power source. Each module is wirelessly connected to a server through a TCP/IP concentrator gateway, so as to transmit information about an occupied state or a free state of the seat to the server. The server includes software to map the occupation of the seats, and output the mapping in a website, a smartphone application, or a wall display.
