A mount (120) for motorcycles and other vehicles is provided that resists relative rotational movement by way of anti-rotation pins (152) received in cavities (140, 176). Connections are provided between the device (126) and the vehicle mount (128) and/or at the connection between the device (124) and a plate (122) that supports a portable device such as a GPS, toll transponder or radar collector. The device is attached to the vehicle mounting element (128) via an extension (170) received in a bore (184) and secured by a fastening element (190) in a cross bore. Application of a force to the mount permits disengagement of the connections between device and vehicle mount. |
