The connector (1) has a metal interlocking clip pivotally mounted on a housing part (2), and a pair of interlocking projections (7) e.g. interlocking pins, provided on another housing part (3). The clip includes a handle piece (13) for connects interlocking legs together. A pair of bearing arms (14) is provided with recesses on respective the interlocking legs for receiving bearing journals (5). A pair of plastic parts is arranged on the respective interlocking legs such that specific sections of the plastic parts cover free end surfaces of interlocking arms (16) of the legs. |
