Provided are an apparatus and a program and a storage medium for processing eyeglass lens which decreases influences of the angle of a cutter for forming a groove on the lens and the diameter of the cutter, thereby precisely machining the groove. A CPU obtains information regarding a path of an edge part of the front side, which is positioned at a front side of the lens, among a pair of edge parts forming the lens (S2). The CPU obtains information about a path of an edge part of the rear side, which is positioned at the rear side of the lens among a pair of edge parts of the groove (S3). The CPU calculates a relative path of the cutter to the lens when the edge part of the front side is formed on the lens, based on the relative angle and the relative diameter of the cutter to the lens (S5). The CPU calculates the relative path of the cutter when the edge part of the rear side is formed on the lens, based on the relative angle and the relative diameter of the cutter to the lens (S6). |
