The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device using LEDs as a light source, and more particularly to a liquid crystal display device where arrangement of LEDs providing uniform white light is optimized. According to characteristics of the present invention, first LEDs emitting yellowish white light are spaced apart from each other along an edge of one side of an FPCB. Second LEDs emitting bluish white light are spaced apart from each other along an edge of the other side of the FPCB. The first and second LEDS are bent to be aligned in a straight line along the edges of both sides of the FPCB through the flexibility of the FPCB. The first and second LEDs are alternately arranged so that white light having high white reproduction and uniform luminance can be obtained. Accordingly, luminance uniformity and color reproduction of a liquid crystal panel can be improved and an increase in manufacturing costs of the backlight unit can be prevented. Further, when mounting the first and second LEDs on the FPCB, the first and second LEDs may be prevented from being mixed so that the efficiency of a process can be improved. |
