A system for assembling car body parts comprises first left and right parts-to-be-assembled (referred to as″parts″hereinafter) loading units, first left and right hanger loading units, first left and right loading robots, first working robots, and first left and right unloading robots. The first left and right parts loading units load first parts to be assembled by each car model type at front left and right regions of a working area. The first left and right hanger loading units are arranged to be close to the first left and right parts loading units and load first hangers, which can grip the first parts to be assembled, by each car model type. The first left and right loading robots have arms with front ends on which the first hangers may be detachably installed and grip the first parts to be assembled with the first hangers after the first hangers are attached. The first working robots are arranged to have at least one row having four columns in the working area, have arms each with a front end on which each of the first hangers is detachably installed, and perform work after the first hangers gripping the first parts to be assembled are installed. The first left and right unloading robots carry out the first hangers from which the first parts to be assembled are detached to the first left and right hanger loading units after each of the first hangers gripping the first parts to be assembled, which pass through the first working robots, is installed at each front end. |
