The present invention addresses the problem of providing a solid electrolyte sulfide material which has satisfactory Li-ion conductivity in low-temperature environments. The invention provides a solid electrolyte sulfide material characterized by containing elements M1 (e.g., Li element and Mg element), elements M2 (e.g., Ge element and P element), and S element, having a peak at a position of 2&thetas;=29.58±0.50º in X-ray diffractometry using a CuKα line, and having no peak at a position of 2&thetas;=27.33±0.50º or slightly having the peak, and characterized in that the replacement amount δ (%) of the divalent element(s) in the M1 elements is in such a range that the sulfide material at 0ºC shows a higher Li-ion conductivity than in the case of δ=0. Thus, the problem is solved. |
