PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched reluctance motor capable of suppressing generation of sound generated when supply of an electric current to a coil is stopped, thereby reducing noise.SOLUTION: The motor apparatus comprises: a switched reluctance motor 2 formed by winding a first coil 2c and a second coil 2d around one salient pole; and driving control means 3 for driving the switched reluctance motor 2 by controlling an electric current supplied for each of the first coil 2c and the second coil 2d. The driving control means 3 controls an electric current to be supplied to the first coil 2c and the second coil 2d so that a period for supplying an electric current to the first coil 2c and a period for supplying an electric current to the second coil 2d are partially overlapped and fall timing of the electric current to be supplied to the first coil 2c and fall timing of the electric current to be supplied to the second coil 2d are shifted from each other. |
