PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processing device that performs suitable image luster and shading processing according to an enlargement/reduction rate of image data.SOLUTION: An image data processing device includes: an enlargement/reduction rate calculation part which acquires an enlargement/reduction instruction for image data and calculates an enlargement/reduction rate for the image data from the enlargement/reduction instruction; and an image data generation part which enlarges or reduces partial image data of the image data based upon the enlargement/reduction rate. Further, the image data processing device includes: a subject shape estimation part which acquires a three-dimensional shape of a subject surface from the image data; a light source environment estimation part which acquires incident light information from a light source of the subject surface based upon the image data and the three-dimensional shape; and a luster/shade control part which controls a luminance value of a high-luminance area or low-luminance area of the image data based upon the three-dimensional shape, incident light information, and enlargement/reduction rate. |
