PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new transition method of communication modes.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises a communication unit and a detection processing unit. If a prescribed radio wave is detected on a first channel during communication by a second communication mode using the first channel and a second channel adjacent to the first channel, the communication unit shifts from the second communication mode to a first communication mode only using the second channel. The detection processing unit performs detection processing of a prescribed radio wave during a prescribed time on a third channel adjacent to the second channel as a frequency band opposite direction to the first channel. If the prescribed radio wave has not been detected during the prescribed time on the third channel, the communication unit shifts from the first communication mode only using the second channel to the first communication mode only using the third channel. |
