PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination system affording a high recovery ratio.SOLUTION: The provided system includes: an intake pump 1; a pretreatment device 3; a high-pressure pump 5 for pumping treatment target water pretreated by the pretreatment device 3; first reverse osmotic treatment devices 6p and 6q for filtering, through membranes, the treatment target water pumped by the high-pressure pump 5; a booster pump 7 for pressurizing bodies of treatment target water flowing out of the respective primary sides of the first reverse osmotic treatment devices 6p and 6q; a second reverse osmotic treatment device 8 for filtering, through a membrane, the treatment target water pumped by the booster pump 7; a power recovery device 11 for pressurizing the treatment target water by using the residual pressure of concentrated water flowing out of the primary side of the second reverse osmotic treatment device 8; a water transmission pump 10 for supplying the permeated water to the demand side; and a drainage pump 13 for draining concentrated water flowing out of the primary side of the second reverse osmotic treatment device 8 and then passing through the power recovery device 11. |
